Dublin's Rotary Club Names Winners Of Educator Of The Year Awards

Educators from each of Dublin's 12 public schools were recognized.

Press release from the Rotary Club of Dublin:

Dublin, CA – May 26, 2020 – The Rotary Club of Dublin today announced the inaugural winners of its Educator of the Year awards. The awards honor an educator from each of the Dublin Unified School District’s twelve schools. The educators recognized are individuals who embody the motto of Rotary (Service Above Self) and the mission of the Dublin Unified School District (To educate every student to become a lifelong learner by providing a safe and supportive environment that fosters collective responsibility for each student’s success). The awards, selected by staff at each site, are presented to those who demonstrate exemplary contributions to education during the school year, with an emphasis on personal efforts and active involvement in helping students succeed.

“It’s hard to imagine a more critical role in society than that of our educators,” said, Michael Prilutsky, president of the Rotary Club of Dublin. “Educators are one of our community’s most vital resources because they are literally molding our future leaders. To celebrate these individuals, and their profession, the Rotary Club of Dublin is embarking on a mission to recognize one educator, per school, per year. Congratulations to the inaugural winners of our Educator of the Year award. You are shaping our world and we are forever grateful.”
Please join us in congratulating the 2019-2020 Educators of the Year:
