Dublin's St. Patrick's Day 2019: Parade, Festival, Fun Run

Make sure to check out the pancake breakfast fundraiser, fun run and the Green & White Gala. All festivities are held rain or shine.

DUBLIN, CA — The East Bay community is invited to participate the City of Dublin's 36th annual St. Patrick's Day festivities. The weekend kicks off with the annual Green and White Gala, which is hosted by the Dublin Sister City Association, on Friday, March 15, at 6 p.m. at the Shannon Community Center.

The pancake breakfast is hosted by the Alameda County Firefighters Local 55 on Saturday, March 16, from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Fire Station #16, which is located at 7494 Donohue Drive. Tickets are $5 per person and includes pancakes, eggs, sausage, juice, and coffee. All proceeds benefit the Alameda County Firefighters Association-Local 55 Charity Fund, which supports local non-profit and community-based organizations.

The parade, hosted by the Dublin Lion's Club on Saturday, March 16 and will be stepping off at 9:30 a.m. The parade, which is one of the largest St. Patrick's Day parades in the Bay Area, will feature more than 80 entries, including floats, bands and local groups. Parade Route: Amador Plaza to Dublin Boulevard to Village Parkway to Amador Valley Boulevard.

The parade will be followed by the popular St. Patrick's Day Festival, which is hosted by the City of Dublin on Saturday and Sunday, March 16, 17 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Dublin Civic Center, located at 100 Civic Plaza. The event will feature a carnival, food, vendors, live music and performances.

The weekend will wrap up with the Shamrock 5K Fun Run and Walk hosted by the City of Dublin on Sunday, March 17. The race begins at 8:30 a.m. in front of Athens Burger on Dublin Boulevard. Thousands are expected to participate. Click here to register.

Festival admission is free, and free parking will also be available nearby. Visitors can also ride BART to either the East or West Dublin BART stations and connect for free directly to the festival by taking Wheels Rapid 30R bus. To ride for free, guests must tell the driver they are headed to the festival. Free and secure bike parking will also be available onsite. All festivities will be held rain or shine.
