Dublin Police: DUI Checkpoint Scheduled

Officers will be checking drivers for signs of alcohol/drug impairment and proper vehicle licensing.

DUBLIN, CA — Dublin police will be conducting a DUI checkpoint Saturday night in the area of Dublin Boulevard and Civic Plaza, the city has announced.

The operation will take place from 6:30 p.m. until 2:30 a.m. Sunday. Officers will be checking drivers for signs of alcohol/drug impairment and proper vehicle licensing.

Dublin DUI checkpoints are placed in locations based on crash statistics and DUI arrests, the city said. Since 2018, Dublin Police Services has investigated 57 DUI crashes that have claimed two lives and another 39 injuries, according to the city.
