DUSD Board Of Trustees Names 2020 President, Vice President

Trustee Dan Cherrier will serve as board president, and Trustee Cheri Rouse will continue to serve as vice president.

DUBLIN, CA — Trustee Dan Cherrier has been elected to serve as president of the Dublin Unified School District Board of Trustees. His election came during the Dec. 17 board meeting. Trustee Megan Rouse was tapped to continue in her role as board vice president.

In 2016, Cherrier was elected to serve on the board. A Dublin resident since 1994, he has held many volunteer roles in the community and school district, including serving on the Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee, being an engineering mentor at Dublin High School, and participating in John Green Elementary’s student site council, according to the district.

Cherrier takes over for DUSD trustee Amy Miller, who has served as board president over the last two years. Cherrier represents Trustee Area 5.

A Dublin resident since 1997, Rouse first came to the Dublin Unified School District Board of Trustees in 2013 when she was named a provisional appointee, replacing David Haubert, who was elected to the City Council. Rouse represents Trustee Area 2.
