With a comprehensive and professionally designed curriculum, the school supports young artists at every stage—from imaginative beginners to advanced high school students preparing competitive college portfolios. For younger students, creative art classes focus on exploration, imagination, and hands-on discovery. Children experiment with watercolor, acrylic, pastel, clay, and mixed media while learning foundational concepts such as color theory, composition, and visual storytelling. Through pencil, charcoal, ink, and painting techniques, they build a solid technical foundation that strengthens both artistic ability and critical thinking skills. For dedicated middle and high school students, Happy Valley Art School offers advanced portfolio development with individualized mentorship. Students explore concept development, theme-based projects, figure drawing, and refined technical practices while building cohesive, college-ready portfolios. The program is ideal for students applying to art, design, architecture, and other competitive university programs where strong visual presentation is essential. What sets Happy Valley Art School apart is its commitment to small class sizes and personalized instruction. Experienced instructors provide professional guidance while encouraging each student’s unique voice.
