The DeKoven Disturbance features anywhere from six to eight comics who are some of the best veteran and up and comers in the Bay Area.
However, there's one catch - John DeKoven, the host of the show, has carte blanche to disturb them during their set with his off stage microphone and sound effects board.
It's mostly "friendly" disturbances with John adding to the joke, making an observation or playing a funny sound effect. However, you may occasionally hear a rim shot on a hacky joke or a bomb go off when... well you know.
Besides the "disturbance" you will be treated to some great comedy from some of the best comedians in the Bay Area.
