Fallon Middle School Hosting Action Civics Fair
Local dignitaries are expected to attend the fair that will focus on policy-making and other social issues.

DUBLIN, CA: Eighth graders at a Dublin middle school are hosting a civics fair mid-May.
Fallon Middle School teacher Terri Sharbach says the students have been working on the project for most of the year.
"The fair will feature students projects targeted specifically at policy-making and other social issues," Sharbach told Patch. "We are expecting local politicians and/or their representatives to attend."

Sharbach said there are approximately 63 projects in which 420 students collaborated.

- Quality over Quantity in Dublin - stop overcrowding in schools
- H20wnership - incentivizing companies and individuals that save water
- The Unopened Gift - recognizing the needs of gifted students and introverts
- A Ride for Education - allow students to use public buses for free with student ID
- Helping the world one trail at a time - increasing public trails
- Lower College cost - students should pay significantly less for college
- Preservation of Resources - we need to do more to use renewable energy
The fair will be held at the school on May 18 between 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. The event is not open to the public.
