Fire Training Planned At Camp Parks This Week
Smoke from the fire may be seen throughout the Tri-Valley area.

DUBLIN, CA — Firefighters from several Tri-Valley fire departments will be conducting training this week at Camp Parks in Dublin. The training is scheduled to run from approximately 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Alameda County, Livermore/Pleasanton, and San Ramon Valley Fire Departments will be burning a building during the training, which is intended to help firefighters better understand fire behavior.
Smoke from the training may be visible throughout the week, according to fire officials. Residents in the area are asked to keep their windows closed.

The Parks Reserve Forces Training Area or Camp Parks is located near Dougherty Road and Scarlett Drive in Dublin.
