UPDATED: Firefighters at the Scene of Dublin House Fire

The fire was reported this morning in the 7300 block of Dalmally Lane.

Update:

Firefighters put out a one-alarm fire in the kitchen of a two-story townhouse in Dublin this morning, an Alameda County battalion chief said. The fire was reported at 11:13 a.m. in the 7300 block of Dalmally Lane. A woman caring for an infant noticed the fire, left the building and called 911, according to Battalion Chief Jim Call.

The home’s occupants were displaced as a result of the fire and all utilities have been temporarily disconnected, Call said. No injuries were reported in the blaze. The cause of the fire remains under investigation, but it originated in the oven and spread to nearby cabinets. The incident could have been the result of a cooking fire or appliance failure, according to Call.
