Former Mayor Named New Dublin High Athletic Director

DUBLIN, CA — Dublin resident Tim Sbranti was recently named the new Dublin High Athletic Director. The former mayor graduated from Dublin High and later taught Civics, Economics, World History, U.S. History, Construction Trades, Journalism, and Speech and Debate.

Sbranti coached tennis and basketball at the school, in addition to serving as the Dublin High School Leadership Advisor and Director of Student Activities. He served the city as mayor from 2008 until he termed out in 2014.

The announcement was made at the June 26 school board meeting.
