Gas Leak Forces Brief Evacuation At Wells Middle School In Dublin

DUBLIN, CA — Wells Middle School in Dublin was safely evacuated for a short time Thursday after a gas leak was reported on the campus. The school located at 6800 Penn Drive was evacuated at approximately 11:45 a.m. and PG&E was called, according to the district.

The utility's crews arrived quickly and resolved the issue. An "all clear" was issued at approximately 12 p.m. and students and staff headed back to campus, the district said.

There were no reports of injuries.
