The City of Dublin and the Boulevard project held a Groundbreaking Ceremony today for the future Don Biddle Community Park

The City of Dublin and the Boulevard project held a Groundbreaking Ceremony for the future Don Biddle Community Park in Dublin today.

Joining the City of Dublin and D.S.R.S.D. officials at the ceremony were members of the Dublin Chamber of Commerce.
The park is named in honor of beloved former Dublin Vice Mayor Don Biddle, who served the community in a multitude of public service capacities for over forty years. He passed away in February.

The planned 30-acre community park will be centrally located in the heart of Dublin on a portion of the former Camp Parks Army Base property.

A bust of the former Vice Mayor was on location for the ceremony and is a work in progress by artist Steven Whyte and will eventually be cast in bronze.
