High School Football Recap

Here are some of the high school football scores from around the region Friday night.

Dublin High 27 Moreau Catholic 20 (OT)

Dublin High had to go to overtime, but the Gaels finally prevailed.

Dublin is now 3-1 on the season while the Mariners fall to 1-2.

The Gaels play their next game in two weeks against Alhambra High of Martinez.

San Ramon Valley 31  Washington High (Fremont) 20

San Ramon Valley held on to defeat winless Washington High of Fremont.

The visiting Wolves were leading 17-14 in the third quarter before putting the game away.

San Ramon Valley is now 2-1 on the season while the Huskies fall to 0-4.

The Wolves play Amador Valley next Friday.

Dougherty Valley 56  Oakland High 0

Dougherty Valley skunked Oakland High to continue their winning ways.

Dougherty Valley is now 3-1 on the year while Oakland High fell to 0-3.

The Wildcats play Campolindo High in Moraga next Friday.

St. Thomas Aquinas  30  De La Salle  6

De La Salle 28-game winning streak was snapped by St. Thomas Aquinas of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, tonight in a nationally televised game.

The visiting Spartans are now 2-1 on the season while the Raiders, the number two ranked team in Florida, is 3-0.

De La Salle, the number three ranked team in California, will play Livermore High next Friday.

Livermore, Granada, Amador Valley and Foothill high schools did not play this weekend.
