House Fire in Dublin Kills Family Dog, Displaces Three People
Firefighters responded to a report of a fire in the 7500 block of Langmuir Court near Dublin High School at 6:59 p.m.

A one-alarm house fire Friday night in Dublin killed a dog and displaced three people, Alameda County firefighters said. Two adults and a child were displaced in the fire, but there were no reported injuries. Firefighters responded to a report of a fire in the 7500 block of Langmuir Court near Dublin High School at 6:59 p.m.
Fire spokeswoman Aisha Knowles said crews arrived to a two-story home where they found heavy smoke coming from the second floor. The fire was found in the attic and was extinguished within 20 minutes of crews arriving on scene. After extinguishing the fire, firefighters discovered a dog in the residence and unsuccessfully tried to revive it. The unit sustained heavy smoke damage.
The American Red Cross was called to assist the two adults and child displaced by the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation. A crew from the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department also assisted in battling the fire.
