House Fire Sends Dublin Man To Hospital

Three Tri-Valley fire departments were called to help knock down the late night blaze.

DUBLIN, CA — The cause of a Friday night house fire in Dublin that sent a man to the hospital is still under investigation, Alameda County Fire officials said. The blaze was reported in the 7600 block of Kilrush Avenue in Dublin just before 11 p.m. Firefighters from Livermore-Pleasanton and San Ramon Valley fire departments responded to assist with the fire.

“Firefighters contained the fire to the back bedroom with heat and smoke damage throughout the residence,” Alameda County Fire spokeswoman Aisha Knowles told Patch.

One man was taken to a local hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation, according to fire officials. No other injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
