How Much Rain Fell In The Tri-Valley? Snow, Hail Reported
Here's the latest on the wild weather hitting the Tri-Valley.
TRI-VALLEY — The green hills of the Tri-Valley turned white Wednesday morning as freezing temperatures and high precipitation brought a rare dusting of snow. Residents in Dublin and Pleasanton also reported seeing hail Tuesday night on Nextdoor.
On top of mountains across the Bay Area, including Mt. Diablo, it was more than just a dusting of snow. Several commenters on Nextdoor reported seeing snow atop Mt. Diablo, and “measurable” snow was also reported on top of Mt. Hamilton, Mont St. Helena, and Saratoga Summit, according to The San Francisco Chronicle. As much as six inches was reported on Lick Observatory at the summit of Mt. Hamilton, Observatory Superintendent Jamey Erikson told KRON4.
