As Dublin's proud and humbled Teacher of the Year, I can say that I value life-long learning, I admire people who are committed to serving our community and whose actions speak louder than their words.
And that is why I am fully supporting my friend Jean Josey for Dublin City Council.
Jean and I know each other well as colleagues in the Dublin Unified School District, but have known one another for much longer as fellow Dublin community volunteers, standing next to one another at fundraisers, in fireworks booths and sitting together in the back of more City Council and School Board meetings than I can recall.

Jean is passionate about serving Dublin and has been for as long as I've known her. She is what I like to call a "do-er", someone who jumps in with both feet to provide ideas, wisdom, experience and action. That is why she is a valuable addition to so many committees and organizations.
Jean is a tireless community advocate. There is no one who does more research or puts in more time to know the issues that challenge our City than Jean. She is well-read, thoughtful and sensible.

I am supremely confident in her ability to serve Dublin on our City Council. I trust her decision-making and judgement, her knowledge of the issues and her willingness to reach out and serve all residents.
Please vote for Jean Josey on Nov. 6.
