Man Killed In Dublin Following Domestic Dispute: Police

DUBLIN, CA — A man was fatally shot Sunday in Dublin following an altercation, Dublin police confirmed Tuesday.

The man was killed Sunday afternoon at the Sofi Apartments on San Ramon Road in Dublin following a physical altercation between two men stemming from a domestic dispute, authorities said. The man killed was the estranged husband of a woman, and the other man involved was her current husband.

The shooting appeared to be self-defense based on an initial police investigation and eyewitness testimony, police said. The District Attorney’s Office is determining whether charges will be filed. The names of the two men are not being released at this time.
