Missing Butte College Student Spotted Using Dublin ATM Found Safe

The teen, who was last seen on Monday, was found in New Mexico after passing through the Tri-Valley.

DUBLIN, CA: A Northern California teen who went missing on Monday has been found safe in New Mexico a day after he used his debit card at an ATM in Dublin. The Gridley Herald reported that Nicolas Locatelli, 17, of Durham was reported missing after he did not show up to his class at Butte College.

The Butte County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page confirmed Locatelli was found at a rest stop by New Mexico State Trooper on March 8, the day after he used the Dublin ATM.

"A photo from that ATM machine’s surveillance camera depicted Nicolas who did not appear to be in distress," sheriff's officials said in a statement. Read the Gridley Herald full story here.
