New Iron Horse Trail Park Phase 1 To Open In Dublin

The city is celebrating the opening of Phase 1 of a new 12-acre park adjacent to the Iron Horse Trail.

DUBLIN, CA — The city of Dublin is hosting a dedication ceremony to commemorate the opening of Phase 1 of the Iron Horse Nature Park and Open Space, a planned 12-acre park adjacent to the Iron Horse Trail, stretching from the San Ramon border to the confluence of the Alamo and South San Ramon creeks.

The park will connect Amador Valley Boulevard to Stagecoach Park along the former railroad corridor. Phase 1, the first 1700 feet of the new park, includes a new multi-use path, seating areas, shade structures, bike amenities, and interpretative signs highlighting the site’s oak trees, wetland areas, and railroad history.

The dedication ceremony for the new park will take place Saturday, Jan. 24 at 10 a.m.
