The $2.7 million project at Gael Stadium broke ground in June and is expected to be completed next month.

DUBLIN, CA — Gael Stadium at Dublin High School is getting new turf and track surfaces to improve athlete safety, and once completed the updates will offer a "university-level" experience, according to Dublin High School Athletic Boosters.
The $2.7 million project funded by voter-approved Measure C broke ground in June and is expected to be completed next month.
The turf field and track at Gael Stadium were installed in 2006 and have reached their end-of-life; the new surfaces are expected to have an 8-10 year lifespan, according to the Boosters.
