Patelco Moves Into Dublin Headquarters

The credit union serves more than 360,000 Northern California members, and is moving its headquarters from Pleasanton to Dublin.

DUBLIN, CA — Patelco Credit Union, which serves members throughout the Bay Area and Sacramento, is moving its headquarters to Dublin from Pleasanton. The building will feature new technology and more collaborative space for the growing company, said Patelco and the City of Dublin.

Patelco hosted a ribbon-cutting and grand opening event at its new headquarters with local food, drinks, live music and prizes from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29 at 3 Park Place. Some 400 members, guests, and local and state officials attended.

"We now have the space we need to continue to grow, innovate, and continue serving your financial needs today, and into the future," Patelco said in a flyer announcing its grand opening.

The new Patelco site is about 1½ miles from the Pleasanton office. Three-hundred and forty employees are expected to work there, the City of Dublin said.

The credit union says it was first founded in 1936, with $500 in assets from five Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company employees. Patelco now serves more than 360,000 members across 36 branches of the company.
