Pay Raise: DSRSD Board Gives Itself Extra $50 Per Day
The Dublin San Ramon Services District Board of Directors approved a raise from $146 to $195, still below the state max of $204 per day.
TRI-VALLEY, CA — The Dublin San Ramon Services District Board of Directors approved a $50 per day raise for itself that went into effect in the new year, DanvilleSanRamon.com reported.
Board members will now earn $195 per day, up from their old rate of $146 per day, the paper reported. The increase was unanimously approved in November. Board members said a raise could entice top candidates into applying for the board, come November.
California's max daily rate for board members was $204 in 2019, according to the board's website. Directors are reimbursed for travel services.

Here's what the board members earned for their duties in 2018, including benefits, according to public employee pay database Transparent California:
- Edward Duarte, President: $5,262
- Richard Halket: $28,459
- Georgean Vondheeder-Leopold: $8,084
- Madelyn Misheloff: $4,240
