Grainbakers Baking School

Grainbakers offers one-of-a-kind whole-grain breadmaking classes and soft pretzel-making workshops. We are honored to be in a guest residency at Pans on Fire, the beloved Pleasanton cooking school. We are also well known for wholesome staff team builders hosted right at your office. Spent grain and brewer's barley are healthy whole grains recycled from the brewing process. Our 90-minute workshops are hosted at some of the country's best breweries, and they often sell out fast. Classes blend fun, relaxation, and the pride of saying "I made that." Whether you are brand new to breadmaking or a seasoned sourdough pro craving a fresh twist, you are welcome here. We especially love showing homebrewers how to transform that beautiful spent grain and brewer's barley into something extraordinary. Every workshop pairs you with friendly Teaching Assistants who guide you through mixing, shaping, and prepping your dough. The Dublin shelter is accepting applications and will contact applicants who seem like a good fit, the sheriff's office said. The shelter is not open to walk-ins; anyone interested in adoptions must make an appointment. The shelter is currently home to five pit bull mix dogs, a hound/pit bull mix and a domestic longhair cat — all female. See a list of available animals <a href="https://www.alamedacountysheriff.org/cws_petadoption.php" target="_blank" rel="noopener nofollow">here</a>.
