Pet Adoptions Resume At Sheriff's Office Animal Shelter In Dublin
The shelter will offer adoptions once more, with some help from Tri-Valley Animal Rescue.
DUBLIN, CA — The Alameda County Sheriff's Office East County Animal Shelter will resume adoptions, with some help from nonprofit Tri-Valley Animal Rescue.
The Dublin shelter is accepting applications and will contact applicants who seem like a good fit, the sheriff's office said. The shelter is not open to walk-ins; anyone interested in adoptions must make an appointment.
The shelter is currently home to five pit bull mix dogs, a hound/pit bull mix and a domestic longhair cat — all female. See a list of available animals here.

The East County Animal Shelter accepts cash, money order and checks.
The shelter is still accepting stray pets and the sheriff's office asks anyone who sees a stray pet to contact 925-803-7040.
