PG&E Announces Weekend Power Outage In Alameda County, Dublin

DUBLIN, CA — PG&E will be disconnecting power to over 57,000 customers in Alameda County starting Saturday at 5 p.m. and lasting up to 48 hours, the utility announced Friday.

According to a PG&E outage map, some Dublin residents might be impacted.

The Public Safety Power Shutoff is due to extreme fire weather conditions.

"We encourage you to find alternative energy sources for light, charging devices and other necessities," an alert from Alameda County read. "Plan ahead with food and water, and make sure your grab-and-go emergency kits are ready."
