PG&E is monitoring a potentially widespread, strong wind event, which is likely to begin on Sunday, October 25, at about 5:00 p.m. PG&E plans to disconnect power to thousands of residences and businesses in Alameda County, including areas of Dublin.

Based on the information we've received from PG&E, possible neighborhoods and businesses which could be without power include Wallis Ranch, Tassajara Hills, Dublin Ranch, and other neighborhoods bordering Tassajara Road; neighborhoods and businesses along Dublin Boulevard between Tassajara Road and Hacienda Drive; portions of Grafton Station and Grafton Plaza; Persimmon Place; portions of the Boulevard; eastern portions of Camp Parks; neighborhoods in the Dublin Transit Center near East Dublin/Pleasanton BART station; and California Highlands and Schaefer Ranch in West Dublin.

Power is expected to be off for approximately 36 hours, with additional time required to turn the power back on safely.
