Pleasanton Arts Council Auctions Artist-Decorated Chairs
Community-created chairs will be displayed at the July 4 concert before a July 11 reception and sale benefiting local arts.
PLEASANTON, CA — The Pleasanton Cultural Arts Council is inviting the community to take a seat - literally.
PCAC's "Take a Seat Chair-ity fundraiser" is auctioning off chairs that have been beautifully decorated by local artists and community members. All proceeds benefit the Pleasanton Cultural Arts Council and its mission to promote the arts in Pleasanton schools and throughout the community.
All Chair-ity entries debuted online Wednesday, at pleasantonarts.org, and all except one are currently available for online purchase. If you’d like a closer look, the chairs will be on display on July 4 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Pleasanton Community Band’s Fourth of July Concert at Lions Wayside Park at the PCAC tent.
