Pleasanton Police Find Meth, Probable Stolen Merchandise
Police found at least $2,000 of merchandise believed to be stolen inside a truck reported for suspicious behavior.

PLEASANTON, CA — Pleasanton police were able to recover roughly $2,000 of probable stolen merchandise and methamphetamine hidden in a car.
A concerned resident on Mountain View Drive contacted the Pleasanton Police Department about a suspicious truck idling in their neighborhood, according to a department social media post. Patrol officers responded quickly, and with the help of K-9 units, found merchandise believed to be stolen hidden inside garbage bags, and illegal drugs.
The suspect was charged with possession of methamphetamine, according to PPD spokesperson Teri Yan.
