Police Discover Missing Georgia Teen In Dublin

Police said Liza Nicole Guerrero told friends that she was attempting to arrange transportation to California to be with family.

DUBLIN, CA — A teenager who went missing from Milton, Georgia last month was recently discovered in the Tri-Valley area, according to a report in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Officers found 16-year-old Liza Nicole Guerrero safe in Dublin on Feb. 3. Police said she was last seen around 12:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 26 on security cameras in Georgia.

"She told friends that she was attempting to arrange transportation to California to be with family," the Milton police department said in its be-on-the-lookout alert issued for the teenager.

Officials did not release details about how she was discovered. Guerrero was placed in the care of county child protective services and will eventually be reunited with her family. Read the full report here.
