Police Investigating Hit-And-Run Crash That Seriously Injured Dublin Teen
Police officials say the suspect's car was found this morning.
Dublin, CA— A teenager was seriously injured in Dublin Wednesday when a hit-and-run driver slammed into a pole which hit the boy, Dublin Police Captain Garrett Holmes said.
Residents said they reported the collision in the area of Vomac Road and Shannon Avenue around 8:50 p.m. after hearing the 17-year-old boy's screams. The victim's parents say the boy suffered four fractured vertebrae and a lacerated kidney and will remain hospitalized for least 72 hours.
According to Holmes, the suspect's car was found and impounded as evidence this morning. Police officials did not release any suspect information at this time. Holmes says the investigation is ongoing.
