Poll: Does Having the Calories Posted Next to Menu Items Influence Your Food Purchases?

A Stanford study says it does. We want to get your opinion.

A Stanford study from 2010 showed that consumers took in fewer calories when shown the calories next to the menu items at a restaurant.

This week is Dublin Pride Week in our city- which includes a fitness challenge as part of this week’s activities. The fitness challenge encourages healthy lifestyle choices, such as heathful eating, along with being more active.

This study has been around for a while, but Patch wants to know if seeing the calorie counts on the menus has changed your decisions when eating out? With bathing suit season approaching, is this something that you think about when dining out?
