City officials want to share the video in an effort to help raise awareness about the potentially tragic consequences of distracted driving.
DUBLIN, CA — The Dublin High School Video Department recently produced a powerful video created to help raise awareness about the potentially tragic consequences of distracted driving. City officials said “It Only Takes a Second” was created by students Matthew Reed and Tyler Revak.
Dublin Police Services and the Alameda County Fire Department worked with the students and city officials to film the dramatic video, which is one of five the students in the department will produce for the City of Dublin.
City officials said almost a half million people are injured or killed in distracted driving-related collisions annually in the United States. In California, April is distracted driver awareness month.
