Tips for Maintaining Your Well-Being:

  • Stay connected with friends and family with phone calls and video chats.
  • Enjoy your hobbies or pick up new ones.
  • Explore without leaving home. Visit https://www.dublin.ca.gov/2182/Virtual-Recreation-Center to see virtual tours of zoos, museums, aquariums, and national parks.
  • Eat healthy. Good nutrition is a key to positive mental health. Stock up on proteins, fruit, and vegetables.
  • Get exercise. Can’t go to the gym? You can go for a walk or exercise in a park, as long as you maintain a distance of six feet from others. Don’t forget to bring your mask. There are also hundreds of exercise videos available online. Visit www.DublinRecGuide.com to find some online programs.
  • Unplug whenever possible. Make time for quiet time, relaxation, and meditation. Information overload can lead to distress.
  • Create routines. In times of uncertainty, sticking to a routine is an important way to maintain a sense of normalcy.

Don’t hesitate to reach out to any of the following agencies for help, guidance, and support:
