Public Comment Period Now Open For City Of Dublin climate Action Plan 2030 And Beyond
The comment period for the Negative Declaration began on Friday, July 24, 2020, and closes at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, August 24, 2020.

The City of Dublin is circulating a Negative Declaration for public review of the draft update to the City’s Climate Action Plan, "Climate Action Plan 2030 and Beyond" (CAP 2030). The comment period for the Negative Declaration began on Friday, July 24, 2020, and closes at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, August 24, 2020.

The CAP 2030 establishes goals to reduce communitywide greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions to 40% below 1990 levels by 2030 to align with Senate Bill 32, and to set the City on the path to achieve carbon neutrality by 2045 to align with Executive Order B-55-18. Specific strategies are identified in the areas of carbon-free and renewable electricity; energy efficiency and electrification; sustainable mobility and land use; and materials and waste management.
