Recycle Your Used Flip Flops in Dublin For a Good Cause
Old Navy in Dublin is participating in a recycling program from April 22 to May 21.
With summer just around the corner you're probably ready to pull out your favorite pairs of flip flops, if you haven't already. But if you're thinking it's time to buy a new pair now there's a way your old flip flops can make a difference.
Starting Friday, April 22 through May 21, shoppers in Dublin can drop off used flip flops in collection bins found outside the store.
Old Navy has partnered with TerraCycle, an international upcycling and recycling company, that encourages consumers to rethink waste. The used flip flops that are collected during the month long drive will be recycled and turned into four public playgrounds around the country.
