DUBLIN, CA — Goodwill’s newly renovated Dublin location will reopen Thursday with a ribbon cutting ceremony, the store announced on Facebook.

The store has been accepting donations, but has been closed since the start of the pandemic, according to a report from The Independent. Store manager Jason Judkins told the paper that the new space will be slightly smaller, and more high-end, than the previous location.

“With the Dublin store, we are introducing a more ‘boutique’ concept,” Judkins said. “It won’t be as large a space, it won’t be cluttered, it will be a little more organized, with a little higher-end product, focused on areas that cater to the demographic here.”
Goodwill also reopened its Livermore location Jan. 20 with a ribbon cutting attended by Goodwill executives and Livermore Vice Mayor Gina Bonanno.
The Dublin location’s reopening is scheduled for Thursday, May 5, at 10 a.m. For more information, call 925-833-8610, or visit eastbaygoodwill.org.
The store is also well-known for providing employment opportunities to people facing challenges. Two positions for a sales associate and associate manager are currently available in Dublin.
