Results Are In! Readers Choose Cocktail Joint in Dublin

And the winner is... Evie's! The unofficial winner is.... Tiki Bar!

The results are in and was named the best cocktail joint in this week's Readers' Choice Patch poll in Dublin.

Of the businesses listed in the poll, Evie's earned 18 percent of the votes with the , and almost tied. The Elephant Bar earned eight percent of the votes, Dublin Sports Pub & Grill snagged seven percent of the votes while Celler 9 had six percent.

The unofficial winner is the "Tiki Bar." Although the Tiki Bar is not an actual business, due to the comments and number of votes, Patch felt it had to be recognized as a local fixture in the community.

The Tiki Bar, found at the home of , earned 35 votes via the comments section.

wrote, "Whenever I travel to Dublin from Philadelphia, I always make a point of stopping at the Tiki Bar for a margarita - there is no other bar like it!"

says this is about the true picture of the Dublin she knows.

"This isn't about "friends"; it is about an entire supportive, fun loving community and the generosity of its people. That is the true picture of the Dublin I know, which is why The Tiki Bar really is the BEST place in Dublin to grab a cocktail," commented Holt.

According to Scannell, the Tiki Bar has hosted many large community events and fundraisers.

"It has also hosted events for the Dublin Sister City Association and various local elected officials over the years," writes Scannell.
