Rookie Chihuahuas Get Surprise Spectatator!

Dublin Little League's Rookie Chihuahuas had a surprise fan come out to watch their game.

The Dublin Little League (DLL) Rookie Chihuahuas had a surprise fan come out to watch their game on May 14th. President of MountainStar Sports Group and the El Paso Chihuahuas, Alan Ledford was seen in the stands to cheer on the Rookie players. Prior to the game, Mr. Ledford was kind enough to give the young players a pep talk, reinforcing what Coach Mike Civello has been teaching all along...effort and positivity! Coach Mike has told his team that the "E" and "P" on their uniform logos stand for Effort and Positivity which keeps the kids focused on what is most important about the game.

When asked about his team and this season, this is what Coach Mike had to say:

"Our Chihuahuas kids are loving the season and having a blast! They have developed their skills and have become better baseball players, but more importantly, they have learned life lessons of hard work, team spirit, and to enjoy the journey. I am extremely proud of the players, coaches and families for their dedication to the team. As the season comes to an end, the energy my players delivered at each practice and each game fuels me to coach again. Go Chihuahuas! Cheers!"
