'Safe And Sane' Firework Sales Beginning Soon In Dublin
Specific types of fireworks are allowed at single-family residences and four approved parks.
DUBLIN, CA — Dublin will begin sales of “Safe and Sane” fireworks on June 28. The fireworks will be on sale from approved nonprofits until noon July 5.
Safe and sane fireworks cannot:
- Explode or fly into the air.
- Contain arsenic sulfide, chlorates, magnesium, and many other chemicals.
- Be larger than 10 inches in length or a quarter-inch in diameter.
They are allowed at single-family residences and four local parks: Shannon Park, Dublin Sports Grounds, Alamo Creek Park, and Emerald Glen Park. They are not permitted in any other park, or multi-housing units, city facilities, businesses or schools.
