Security At Dublin High School: Student Pushes For Improvements
"We simply can't wait for something to happen," said student DUSD board representative Tinni Mukherjee.

DUBLIN, CA — Tinni Mukherjee is looking out for her peers at Dublin High School. During this week's Dublin Unified School District Board of Trustees meeting, she spoke up about her desire to see campus security improved. As a student DUSD board representative, she has a platform and she used it Tuesday.
"When it comes to school safety, given the number of tragedies we've had across the nation at schools, school safety has to be something we take as a proactive —rather than reactive —measure," Tinni said.
"I'm very grateful" to live in Dublin, she said, calling it a "privileged and safe" community. Tinni praised DHS as a "beautiful, open campus," but said the number of school intruders has increased over the last few years and that's created a heavy workload for the four existing campus supervisors.

Board members agreed with Tinni. The issue of DHS campus safety will be brought back to the board for discussion during its upcoming meetings.
