Nearly 700 shelters across the country, including the East Bay SPCA in Dublin and other local rescues, are teaming up with NBC and Telemundo for Clear the Shelters—a nationwide pet adoption drive on Saturday, Aug. 19 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The mission? Find forever homes for animals in need by waiving ALL adoption fees.
At the Dublin facility, a Summer Family Festival is planned. Among the attractions:

- Children’s crafts
- Fun and games
- Vendor booths
- Food trucks.
More than 50,000 pets nationwide found their forever homes on this day in 2016.
Join the East Bay SPCA for a fun day of waived adoption fees for cats and dogs at two locations -- Oakland and Dublin.
Also in Dublin will be meet-and-greets with other local animal rescues including Northern California Weimaraner Rescue, Westside Animals for Adoption and the Tri-Valley Animal Rescue.
