Shamrock 5K Fun Run/Walk Registration Deadline Nearing

DUBLIN, CA — Registration ends Sunday for the Shamrock 5K Fun Run & Walk, which will take place March 15 as part of Dublin's weekend of St. Patrick's Day celebrations. Registration for the race will close Sunday, March 8 at 8:59 p.m. Participants who miss the deadline may be able to register the day of the race if space is available.

The 3.1-mile race will begin Sunday, March 15 at 8:30 a.m. on Dublin Boulevard across from the Dublin Civic Center. Participants can register for the competitive 5K run, the untimed 5K run and walk, the Para Division for athletes with physical disabilities, and the Adaptive Division for athletes with intellectual disabilities.

St. Patrick's Day festivities will begin Saturday, March 14 with the Firefighters Pancake Breakfast, followed by the St. Patrick's Day Parade. Throughout the whole weekend, visitors will enjoy three stages of Irish music and dance, an Irish marketplace with more than 250 vendors, an Irish Tea Cottage, a carnival, and a Celtic and International Food Court.
