Shamrock 5K Run & Walk Registration Available
St. Patrick's Day in Dublin is approaching, and that means a race, a parade, and a long weekend of Irish-themed fun.
DUBLIN, CA — Registration is available for the City of Dublin’s Shamrock 5K Fun Run & Walk, the annual race that takes place during the city’s famous St. Patrick’s Day celebrations.
The race is scheduled for Sunday, March 17 at 8:30 a.m., and more than 2,000 people are expected to participate. Participants can either run or walk, and the first three finishers in each age group in the Competitive Division will receive a medallion. See here for more information and to register. After the race, participants can enjoy refreshments, entertainment, and prize drawings. It is part of a weekend full of celebrations on the weekend of March 16-17 that will include the 40th St. Patrick's Day Parade, the Firefighters Pancake Breakfast, the Shamrock Gala, three stages of Irish music and dancing, over 250 festival booths, Irish food and drink, and more.
