A popular watering hole in Dublin has closed. The Dublin Sports Pub & Grill is permanently shuttered, officials with the City of Dublin confirmed today.
A Dublin Patch reader told Patch that he stopped by the restaurant on October 5 and noticed the windows are covered by curtains. Not many details were available about the closure but the phone to the eatery rang without an answer and posts on their Facebook page stopped as of September 28.
According to their Facebook page, which had over 2,200 likes, the pub opened in 2011 and regularly featured live music and football. The local watering hole was once featured on FoodTube.net.

The Dublin Sports Pub & Grill was located 7294 San Ramon Road in Dublin.
