Sprouts & Shutters: New Ownership At Hair Salon in Dublin

It's the same place but with a new owner.

Alice Araujo and her husband, Ed, have purchased Hollywood Hairstyles. The salon officially began under the new ownership on Monday.

The salon is at the same location at 7998 Amador Valley Blvd. in Dublin.

Araujo still cuts hair as do three other seasoned stylists who rent stations from her.

Araujo has been a stylist since 1984. She cut hair the past two years at Hollywood Hairstyles.

"It's very, very exciting to have my own business," said Araujo.

To kick things off, Hollywood Hairstyles is offering 30 percent discounts the entire month of February.
