Stanford Health Care - ValleyCare Auxiliary Scholarships

Pleasanton, CA – For over 20 years the Stanford Health Care - ValleyCare Auxiliary has been awarding scholarships to local high school students. Each year the Auxiliary awards four $4,000 (paid at $1000 per year for four years), and two $1000 scholarships (paid at $500 per year over two years).

In addition to the Auxiliary scholarships, the Stanford Health Care - ValleyCare Medical Staff will award one $4000 scholarship (paid at $1000 per year for four years).

These scholarships are available to graduating high school seniors residing in Livermore, Pleasanton, Sunol, Dublin or San Ramon, who plan to enter a medical related field.

Residency requirements may be waived for Junior Volunteers of the Stanford Health Care – ValleyCare Auxiliary after they have volunteered at least 72 hours.

Applications are available online at www.valleycare.com/auxiliary. Applications must be postmarked no later than March 25, 2016. Scholarships will be awarded at the Auxiliary Appreciation luncheon on May 18.
