Swalwell, DeSaulnier Hold Town Hall In Dublin

Representatives Eric Swalwell and Mark DeSaulnier are hosting a town hall Monday night at the Shannon Community Center.

DUBLIN, CA — Representatives Eric Swalwell and Mark DeSaulnier, who represent different portions of the Tri-Valley in Congress, are holding an in-person town hall meeting Monday in Dublin to discuss their work in Washington.

The meeting will take place at 6:30 Monday at Dublin’s Shannon Community Center on 11600 Shannon Avenue. It will also be streamed live on Swalwell and DeSaulnier’s Facebook pages, and on Contra Costa Television.

The event is free and does not require an RSVP.

Eric Swalwell has represented the 14th District, which includes parts of Dublin, Pleasanton, Livermore, Hayward, Union City and Fremont, since 2023. He represented the 15th District, which constituted a similar area before a 2022 redistricting, from 2013 to 2024. He served on the Dublin City Council for two years before beating 40-year incumbent Rep. Pete Stark in 2012. He currently serves as co-chair of the House Democratic Steering Committee.

Mark DeSaulnier has represented the 10th District, which includes Alamo, Danville, Walnut Creek, Concord Pleasant Hill, San Ramon, and eastern Contra Costa County, since 2023, and represented a similar district from 2015 to 2023. He was a member of the Concord City Council, the Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors, the California State Assembly, and the California State Senate before he was elected to Congress.
