Take a Walk to Yogurt Walk
Frozen yogurt is fun for all, so bring your kids along to check out our newest yogurt shop in the Tralee Shopping Center.
Frozen Yogurt seems to be quite popular these days with the kids, perhaps more so than ice cream. I think it is all the yummy candy toppings kids can pick; it gives them more free rein and creativity in their own dessert decisions.
About a month ago a new yogurt shop named opened in Dublin. This is really a very child friendly yogurt shop that welcomes all ages.
I went in this week with both of my kiddos who were instantly busy following the yellow feet stamped on a circular path inside the shop. It's amazing how something so simple can be completely entertaining for a 1 year old and a 3 year old.

The sales clerk was a delight and offered us samples of all the flavors, as well as a sample of any of the toppings. This was great considering my son has yet to explore the world of toppings and isn't quite sure what some of them are.
However, even with a vast amount of sugary topping treats, he chose the gummy worms. Not a surprise, who wouldn't want food in the shape of bugs! He enjoyed the peach flavor, which is also dairy free (good to know for many moms out there). Once my daughter adjusted to the new temperature of the frozen treat, she couldn't get enough of her brother's dessert.

The yogurt walk has step by step instructions for how to make your creation:
1. Grab a cup
2. Fill with yogurt
3. Top with fruit and nuts
4. Admire your creation
5. Weigh and pay (.38 cents oz)
6. Stamp your yogurt card
7. Enjoy
This would be really fun for kids who can read, because you can make it a learning activity. Additionally, every time you buy a frozen yogurt you get a stamp to earn towards a free one.
I also liked how this shop is set back inside the Tralee shopping center, so you can enjoy the courtyard/patio like setting on a nice day. There are plenty of places to sit and enjoy some yogurt. Take a break from the holiday hoopla and have some yogurt!
Maintaining my motherly sanity,
