DUBLIN, CA — On Sunday, Tri-Valley residents turned out to show support for a Sign Garden for Justice event, in support of Black Lives Matter.

The event was organized by the Dublin High School Black Student Union. Organizers secured permission from the Dublin City Council to allow Tri-Valley for Black Lives demonstrators to install 40 pro-Black Lives Matter signs at Dublin's Civic Center Plaza.

The crowd was a sea of shirts that read "Our Dublin" and featured raised fists of many skin tones. Participants brought signs that read "skin color is not a crime" and "Why is ending racism a debate?"
