Valley Christian High's baseball team came up one victory short of a championship season.
The Dublin high school lost in the North Coast Section Division V title game to Head-Royce High, 11-1, on Saturday.
Valley Christian, the number one seed in the tournament, finished its season with a 19-8 record.
